LHL has some of the most talented individuals this specialist field has to offer. With over 30 years’ experience between the Directors alone, LHL have a vast amount of expertise and knowledge of business rates recovery. Their extensive experience has meant they have been able to identify and recover tens of millions of pounds for their clients. Meet some of our staff below:
Steve Lynch, Director
Steve has been in business rates since 2005 and has helped local authorities and various corporate companies save millions in rates. An avid golfer, Steve is passionate about helping all sorts of companies save on their business rates, in particular, Golf Clubs.
Paul Hegarty, Director
A self-confessed business rates geek, Paul has recovered millions over the years for both large corporates down to smaller high street names. Paul has been in the industry since 2001 and managed a team of 20 business rates auditors before setting out with Mark and Steve to form LHL. He is keen to use extensive (geeky) knowledge to continue to help businesses of all shapes and sizes.
Mark Lovett, Director
Mark has been in the world of business rates audits since 2010 and has become a respected figure in the industry, having recovered millions of pounds for a vast portfolio of clients. Mark has also worked with SQL developers to write software for LHL, and his previous employers, to identify a large number of potential clients that have overpaid rates en masse. And as if to further prove he loves a challenge, Mark's a lifelong fan of Fulham FC.
Duncan Jay - Business Developmement Manager
Duncan is our man on the road who travels the length and breadth of the UK to talk to our clients about their business rates and to discuss how we may be able to help!
In his spare time Duncan loves walking his dog Bruno.
Emma Napier, Administration Manager
Emma has successfully handled numerous clients cases which have resulted in our clients receiving over £3m in rates savings. Emma loves a quiz and has an impressive memory being able to name all the States and capitals of America.
Yolanda Jenkin-Edwards, Head Rates Analyst
Yolanda is one of our senior analysts who looks at clients portfolios for saving opportunities through List alterations. Yolanda was once a member of the British Event Team and still has a keen interest in all things equestrian.
Claire Wells, Administrator
Claire is a one of our hardworking team of administrators who works tirelessly to deliver savings to our clients as soon as possible. When not working hard for LHL, Claire is working hard for her young family. If she does get a break she is a bit of a self-confessed foodie who loves visiting celebrity chef restaurants.
Lee Smale, Senior Account Manager
Lee has delivering over £6 million in savings for UK businesses. His knowledge and attention to detail has helped businesses maximise the savings available to them. He is a great motivator, leads by example and helps his team to deliver the first class service LHL are proud of.
Out of the work Lee loves opera and Pavarotti and though retired from professional sport Lee is an active spectator especially of his team for life Charlton Athletic!
Alan Mundy, Account Manager
Alan is one of our account managers, he helps clients understand their options and make the most of their savings.
Softly spoken, debonair Alan is a lifelong martial artist, a keen gamer and a massive geek.
Kit Worthington, Lead Rates Analyst
Kit helps the account managers with deciding whether difficult cases are viable. Behind his baby face lies a first-class physics graduate brain with an aptitude for rating. Kit is a actually a lot older than he looks and is the LHL reigning pool champion.
Abi Copeman, Accounts Controller
Multi talented Abi works hard behind the scenes controlling the finances of LHL.
When not working hard for LHL Abi can be found at hip festivals listening to cool bands.
Tom Allen, Account Manager
Tom is one of the most energetic member of the team who is very keen to help UK businesses.
